Terminal Housings are a family of enclosures that may be used to environmentallyprotect 10, 15, 20, 25 or 30 terminal blocks. Each housing includes a standard DIN rail for mounting terminal blocksalong with all grounding hardware. A sufficient amount of room is provided for making drop wire terminations while thehousing features a small, compact and visually appealing design. Housings may be ordered with or withoutterminals, pre-stubbed or without stub wiring. Rubber grommets are included at all drop wire cable entry and exit ports.
The STB module provide a connection point between an exchange-side cable pair and
a distribution pair. It incorporates a 5-point plug in module to provide continuity
and a range of other options.
Multi-Serivce terminal housings are especially functional in that up to 10 pairs may be terminated inside the enclosure while up to 100 pairs may be “looped through”, a technique that eliminates the need for an additional joint or closure in close proximity to the terminal housing.
